Social Media can be a valuable tool for University work, but also poses risks.

 

Social media guidelines

It is very important to take care with social media if you are posting anything at all related to your work in the University. Ensure that what you post in your own social spaces does not contravene University policy. 

You are liable for information you publish on Social Media. Any defamatory material you post whether inside or outside work, whether it is a University or a private account, can be made a disciplinary matter.
