By activating the "Find my device" option in your smartphone or tablet operating system you can help find it if you lose it. While a stolen device could also be tracked you should remember that your safety is paramount and liaise with your mobile service provider, local law enforcement and the University Security team on this.
It also will generally give you the option to remotely wipe the device from another device or a web interface.
