If a University provided device is lost or stolen it needs to reported to IS Helpline and to your line manager in the first instance.
If the device is known to have University data on it then it will need to be reported to the Data Protection Officer.
If a personal device containing university data is lost or stolen it needs to reported to IS Helpline and to your line manager in the first instance.
If the device is known to have University personally identifiable information on it, then it will need to be reported to the Data Protection Officer.
